A partir d'un fichier MIDI, plusieurs visualisation sont possibles.
Les plus intéressantes me semblent être "Yarn" et "Dyad"; qui représentent en couleurs les intervalles joués. Si on attribue bien chaque intervalle à une touche d'émotion, on peut voir à chaque instant un cocktail de couleur.
# fifths and fourths, the most consonant intervals, are BLUE,
# thirds and sixths are GREEN,
# major seconds and minor sevenths, which are more dissonant, are VIOLET,
# minor seconds and major sevenths, more dissonant still, are YELLOW, and
# the most dissonant interval, the tritone, is RED.
Et on peut même avoir cette visualisation en direct quand on utilise son clavier MIDI. Je n'ai pas testé s'il y a conflit avec Cubase...
